Introduction
Cloudamart set out to revolutionize the courier delivery industry by creating a unified super app that would seamlessly integrate delivery, transportation, and buy & sell services, allowing users to access all of these functionalities from a single platform. As the UX/UI designer for this project, I collaborated with my partner, Syed Hussain, over the course of four months to design the entire platform from scratch. By focusing on user-centric design and iterative feedback, we aimed to simplify the fragmented experience of using multiple apps and provide users with a streamlined, cohesive solution that connected businesses and consumers within their city. The end result was a fully responsive and accessible platform, offering users a superior experience while helping Cloudamart strengthen its market presence.
Problem Statement
The courier delivery industry is fragmented, with separate platforms for delivery, transportation, and buying & selling, making it inconvenient for users to switch between services. Cloudamart aimed to resolve this issue by creating a unified platform, but the challenge lay in designing an intuitive user interface that could seamlessly integrate these diverse services while ensuring a superior user experience.
How Might We Statement
How might we design a unified platform that integrates delivery, transportation, and buy & sell services, providing users with a seamless and convenient experience while outperforming specialized competitors?

Challenge
The courier delivery industry is rapidly expanding, yet it faces significant fragmentation with separate applications for different services like delivery, transportation, and buying & selling. This fragmentation complicates user experience and convenience. Cloudamart aimed to revolutionize this by creating a unified platform where users can access all these services seamlessly. Despite the potential, the challenge lay in integrating these diverse functionalities into a single, advanced application that could outperform specialized competitors while offering a superior, cohesive user experience.
Research
For the Cloudamart project, I conducted a comprehensive analysis of leading apps in the delivery, transportation, and marketplace sectors, such as Hopper, Airbnb, Uber, Uber Eats, SkipTheDishes, DoorDash, Facebook Marketplace, and Instacart. The goal was to identify key design trends and functionalities that could inform the development of Cloudamart's unified platform.
Through my research, I noticed several commonalities among these apps, particularly in their streamlined user interfaces, intuitive navigation, and clear separation of services. Each app excelled in offering users a focused and convenient experience, whether it was for booking rides, ordering food, or purchasing items from local sellers. These insights helped guide the design for Cloudamart, ensuring that we provided a similarly seamless experience while integrating multiple services into one platform.
A unique challenge with Cloudamart was that I had to build the entire design system from the ground up. The company provided only a logo and a single color—a baby blue—leaving the rest of the visual identity and design assets to be developed. This required me to establish a full color palette that balanced modern aesthetics with functionality, ensuring the platform was visually cohesive and accessible.
In addition to the color palette, I designed a comprehensive set of icons, selecting typography that matched Cloudamart's brand vision, and creating intuitive user flows. Drawing from my competitive research, I incorporated best practices in layout design, interaction elements, and user experience principles to develop a platform that could seamlessly transition between delivery, transportation, and marketplace services, providing users with an all-in-one, easy-to-use experience.

Ideation
The ideation phase for Cloudamart focused on designing a user-friendly platform that could seamlessly integrate multiple services—delivery, transportation, and buying & selling—without overwhelming users. Drawing from competitive research, I began sketching initial wireframes and user flows that emphasized simplicity and clear service separation while maintaining an intuitive experience across all functionalities.
Given the absence of existing design assets beyond the logo and baby blue color, I started by conceptualizing a color palette that would not only complement the brand but also enhance readability and visual appeal. I experimented with various shades of blue, paired with neutral colors like white and gray, to create a clean, modern look. For icons, I aimed for a minimalist style that was easily recognizable, helping users navigate between services effortlessly.
Throughout the ideation process, I focused on ensuring that the transition between different services felt seamless. For example, I explored design solutions that allowed users to easily switch from booking a ride to ordering from a local store, with consistent navigation elements and smooth interactions. Early prototypes were designed with mobile responsiveness in mind, ensuring that the platform would work fluidly across devices.
This ideation process laid the foundation for Cloudamart’s cohesive and unified user experience, bringing together a complex array of services into a single, easy-to-use platform.
